She worked in orthopedics, medical-surgical units, post-anesthesia care units in a same-day surgery center, and has worked in high-risk obstetrical care in both postpartum and antepartum for seven years.
Reidun has always been passionate about women’s care, and it was the care of her patients at the bedside, and the providers she worked with that inspired her to go back to school and get her nurse practitioner degree to further be an advocate and partner in women’s care. She received her graduate degree as a women’s health nurse practitioner from Kent State University.
When she is not working, Reidun enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys on their Christmas tree farm, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors.
